By being a member of the WRFLUA, you help support the association. Gold Members also receive entry to all social events during the year for free.
WRFL Umpires Association
Dear Members,
The Western Region Football League Umpires Association (WRFLUA) Executive wish to advise that the WRFLUA have signed an agreement with the WRFL, whereby the WRFL will pay all costs associated with running our main training ground, Hanmer Reserve. In return the WRFLUA will provide free membership to all umpires in 2024. All umpires in 2024 are now automatic members of the WRFLUA.
What does this mean for you:
- All umpires will be represented at all tribunals and hearings;
- All pay negotiations and other matters that affect umpires will be handled by the Association;
- All umpires officiating Grand Finals will receive a trophy;
- Continued support through grants that help operate our current academies;
- Continued support with the development and recruitment of umpires.
This agreement now strengthens the Association.
The Agreement with the WRFL stipulates that the Umpires Association still controls the main training ground and the management necessary to run the venue.
In 2024, Gold membership for the WRFLUA will cost $120, which will admit you to all functions held, including our Mid season function with $1000 draw (cost $60), End of season Presentation night (cost $60), Grand Final appointment night and a number of other functions we hold during the course of the season. Payment for Gold Membership can be made from your monthly match payments or paid in a lump sum.
As you are a registered Umpire, we suggest you seriously consider Gold Membership as this represents excellent value for money.
